Since its inception in 1968, the balancing division has been a leader in the field of dynamic balancing and is equipped with modern, accurate equipment to meet the demands of its wide variety of clients.
VEEM Limited operates the largest number of balancing machines in Australia. Our range covers 100 grams to 28 tonnes using Schenck balancing machines.
Capabilities
The capabilities of the Balancing Division include
- Dynamic Balancing - diameter to 3.6m and length to 7.6m. Turbines, propellers, fans, impellers, machine spindles, centrifuges, gyroscopes, rollers, wheel hubs, brake drums, armatures, beaters, etc.
- Engine Balancing - dynamic balance of engine components for all currently available engines from single cylinder to V16 Alco diesels.
- Driveshaft Manufacture, Repair and Balancing - of all automotive, agricultural, transport, earthmoving, marine and power take-off shafts.
- On-site Balancing - for large, critical or complex equipment our field portable instruments allow dynamic balancing to be conducted on-site without dismantling of equipment.
- Static Balancing
NATA Certification
VEEM is certified for balancing by the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA).
Levels of uncertainties are calculated for all certification processes.
